Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion
So did anyone attend a Force Friday event? Did they have enough stock this time?

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion
I don't know why Hasbro keeps pushing the Force Friday thing. They don't even have enough stock to fill their vendor orders.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion
I read a lot online about it being Farce Friday part 2, no stock, no special date, just like after last years debacle.
This morning one WM had 0 and 1 was decent.
Online I used the Indigo coupon (to get the 2 BS6 I needed for 15% off) and the TRU coupon to get the 2-packs for essentially 20% off.
As an aside, I can't see another sale for more than 25% off (taking these below $22.50 which is the TRU sale price for $29.99 figures) for at least six months. Five dollar jump on BS6 to $29.99 sucks just like the Marvel Legends 6".
I have not seen any mention of Walmart up here getting their Wave 4 BS3.75 figures (Lando, Ahsoka, ERG, Ackbar).

I remember when Ep1 came out and it was like an event at the TRU. So many toys it was amazing. This? Not so much; not even a special display near the front.

Totally true. It was such a big event. I remember hearing about it on the radio as I was going to work that day. Now it's barely a sigh. Too bad Disney + Hasbro are not taking advantage of this.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion
I am seriously trying not to buy anymore Star Wars stuff. The price increase, plus my lack of space is making continuing to collect a bad idea. It is tempting now that the new black 6" is out, but I am resisting... Trying to tell myself the force awakens was the end, or maybe a few key OT acquisitions, but that's it.

Plus lack of product availability.
Hasbro is trying to help you quit as best as they can lol.

Yeah it was disappointing I found the TBS6 figures at Walmart...I was really hoping to get a stormtrooper helmet, was it supposed to come out today as well?

I searched online and in Calgary and no helmets yet. Watch the Youtube reviews, it will help bring down the excitement for the helmet..
