Indiana Jones: Adventure Series Discussion

I haven't seen another thread on the Indiana Jones Adventure Series line, so I though I'd make one.

The Professor Indy and Donovan are up for preorder today. I think Club Obi-Wan will be at ToysRUs since its a Target exclusive in the US

While some of the figures look great I'm just not that big an Indy fan. I'll maybe get an Indy, but after that nothing else really moves me.

At least we are finally getting a good looking 6" Indy line.

Re: Indiana Jones: Adventure Series Discussion

If this is indicative of what Walmart and Amazon will get.......IT'S CLEARANCE TIME BABY!!!!!

TRU is obviously terrible with pricing and sales now, but Walmart and Amazon are still hopeful places for a good sale/clearance from time to time.

While I love the movies, and have a bunch of the 3.75" figures/vehicles from the last time Hasbro did a line, they didn't move very well (outside of a few figures). As such I got a bunch of stuff on sale, and that is going to be the same situation here. Indy is fun, but it just doesn't transfer well to toys.

This is a wait and see line for me personally, even though Hasbro seems to have done a great job with the toys themselves.

Re: Indiana Jones: Adventure Series Discussion

I picked up the Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones the other day but there are a few QC issues with it:

- right leg was fused to the hip joint. Had to pry it off with a knife

- left foot won't stay firmly on the peg

I'll be returning it and swapping it out for another one that hopefully doesn't have these issues.

Re: Indiana Jones: Adventure Series Discussion

My Indy figure just arrived. Luckily no QC issues with mine.
Makes me want to complete the Ark, but other than Toht I’m not that interested in the other figures. I do want a Sallah, but not that version. When I think of Sallah I immediately think of him in his suit and that little red hat (whatever the proper name for that hat is…).
Hopefully I can find the other Ark pieces on eBay or somewhere else.

….or that canprime is right and the figures go on clearance rather quickly, but then that won’t bode well for wave 2 and beyond up here

Re: Indiana Jones: Adventure Series Discussion

So my verdict on this one figure which is Indy, is man that face looking rough, nothing like how good it was on the box or in promo pics, somewhat of a let down, the rest of the figure looks great, and no visible QC issues (unless that face is one), gotta say I had high hopes for at least just Indy, and really wanted a good articulated figure for a long time, but I'm kinda meh'd on that face there is some false advertising going on and some to be desired.
