Great episode, I'm just going to forgo the spoiler text in hopes that anyone reading my comment will at least read it properly:

Rex is great. This idea of a deserter in an army has been told many times before in TV and movies, but here was a new twist: giving the army man (Rex) more motive than just blind devotion or patriotism. He stays in the war because he believes that tehy all must fight for freedom, and one day does plan to live a life of non-war. (which sucks, when you consider what happens to the clone army)

I love the Battle droids in this ep. They're such prominent and memorable characters yet totally copy-paste. That's what I love, because you can kill them over and over and they all have the same personality. Makes me wish I bothered to buy more than three of their figures.

Again, another awesome episode!!! The whole idea of Clones deserting the Grand Army has been discussed before in Karen Traviss' Republic Commando books and it's neat to see this subject carried over into the animated series.

It also gave the episode a slightly deeper edge what with Cut really teaching Rex basically that, just because they're clones, it doesn't mean they have to spend their whole lives in servitude to someone else and have the right to free choice.

Apparently Cartoon Network is entering a three week break now...weird. Maybe that explains Teletoons programming choices.

Eventually, with any luck, we'll be even again.

Well, to most of Canada there are still new episodes on this friday and next. We've seen the american broadcasts off of the internet. Not everyone does that.
