Dollar Stores annoy me these days. It used to be you could buy inferior products for a buck or less. These days it's a buck or more, so you're just buying inferior products now. True dollar stores are a rarity these days, and understandably so.

I agree with you that Dollar Stores have raised their prices for crappier products, in some cases that is. But these figures are still selling at TRU for like 10 bucks more so i'm still stoked.  That's what annoys me about these large corporations, even though a product isn't selling they will still try to make as much profit as possible.

I hate when that happens. Old stock just sits there FOREVER.
Anyway, picked up Evangelion 1.11 + 2.22 on blu ray from Futureshop today.
2.22 is the best anime I've seen in a long time.

Today just had an awesome transformers haul from value village... sorry for the very poor quality pictures.... but all that for $9

Picked up Raiders Indy, a Nazi soldier, and the Holy Grail Knight from my local comic shop for $2 each. Never thought I'd see these figures go like this.

Lego Mini-figures Series 4:
Artist, Skateboarder, Viking, Frankenstein, and the Rock Star.
These things fly off the shelves so quickly! Within a few hours, all that's left is an empty box!

From HLJ: Figma Mari and Asuka. I haven't opened Asuka yet, but Mari is just awesome. Probably the best Figma sculpt so far, IMO. The lack of waist joint makes the whole sculpt better since it doesn't break up the smooth lines.
