Smooth move Hasbro. So I guess I won't have anything to even look at from them until the fall.

There's always catching up on Vintage stuff and the like that we probably will start seeing at Winners and GT.

I'm a bit dissapointed in this too, however in a way this means I don't have to buy a bunch of figures I didn't really want just to complete the droids. I was only interested in the new Padme and Non-Toon Captain Rex, with possibly one or two other figures, but would have to buy more Vaders, Lukes and whoevers just to get the droid parts to have a complete Astromech or the like.

This is both good and bad in that light.

Some of their BAD ideas were great in the past like HK-47 or the red dude from the Gendy series, but overall there were simply not enough droids to make this concept work long term. R2's and R4's eventually wear out their welcome.

I agree. The only droid that even interested me this time around was Dooku's pilot droid. The rest were just realistic Clone Wars stuff that I didn't care about at all. BaD isn't something with a lot of long-term appeal, they'd have to switch to something other than droids eventually but I'd be hard pressed to say what. Build-a-Clone? Build-a-Jedi? Build-a-Sith?

Yeah, no big loss, but I still like the 2008 editions.
