Here is a link to a Youtube video comparing a KO Tamashii Nations Darth Vader to an original.
This is from 6 years ago, but it shows some of the differences in packaging. Notably, like Primetyme pointed out, the difference in paper/cardboard quality, while minimal, is noticeable. Also the video points out differences in the printing of some of the words/logos.
The figure itself is considered good, if not almost equal, quality compared to the original.
These companies are looking to make money on whatever is currently "hot" because it will probably sell well. The sheer number of sellers on Aliexpress, combined with the amounts being sold also leads me towards thinking these are highly quality KOs. The seller who everyone used has sold almost 500 Eels. There are other sellers who have sold over 100 as well. One I looked at said the maximum customer order was 500 units!! That seems like a lot of product for an exclusive (that hasn't been switched to wide release yet).
