Re: Iron Man movie figures

I've got three Wal-Marts in my area, so that is of no concern to me. Toys R Us is also carrying three packs of the 6-inchers.

Re: Iron Man movie figures

you gotta watch out though, there was a War Machine Released for the 1st IM movie, that was a Walmart Exclusive, and it never made it here.

I've got that one, ordered it from the States, which I'll end up doing if this line takes the same road as the tenth wave of DC Universe Classics! No worries, I've got this all figured out!!!

Found wave 1 of the movie figs at a Walmart in Laval, Que. seems that the movie figs and the comic figs are in 2 different asst. cases. Didn't see any of the comic figs yet.

Re: Iron Man movie figures

The "do not put out before date" on the open case was, I believe March 1st so the official start to our general dissapointment is probably next week. This Wallys in particular NEVER pays attention to dates on cases because the associates who work in the section are oblivious to such things. In more responsible Walmarts these cases will probably be tossed to the side and forgotten about until April or something. At least TRU will have theirs out.

Yep, I've learned very early in life (1994 or there abouts, while trying to track down Jurassic Park series II figures) to never, ever, EVER rest your hopes on a place like Wal-Mart.

Toys R Us, on the other hand, is something else entirely!

Re: Iron Man movie figures

With the sightings today I am going to head to the Wally at Hwy 7 and Jane after work, see if I can't get me a new Mark III armour to play with tonight while watching the women's olympic hockey.

I have a good friend who manages a TRU store in TO, I'm hoping next week I'll have access to all the IM2 figs and get the TRU staff discount to boot.

Will start posting pics as I'm able to.
