Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

I don't mind the Glenda figure. I like it. Looks like we will get a retro Scarlett and a Flash sometime in the future.

Hasbro tried to release Glenda before, but ended up just making her a pilot Scarlett, probably cause they felt no one would know who Glenda was. I did make it into a Glenda though.

I plan to keep her though if it gets unlocked, and hopefully we do unlock it and the 3rd tier would be really good. However, she keeps saying as a callback to the Skystriker Haslab, makes me think the 3rd unlock really would be some version of Airborne as he is the co-pilot on the box.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made the base of an Airborne figure and called him something else or made it a generic trooper and then they can release the real Airborne to retail, or gave him a different color scheme.

Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

Neeeeeever even heard of her before today. But...I'm mixed on it. For me, any figure beyond Ripcord was gravy, and I do think she looks cool. Also, we're guaranteed to be getting a super classic looking Scarlett redo based on that body, and those Flash weapons couldn't be more obvious, so more pluses there. I do also think offering highly desired characters as tier unlocks for super expensive toys is trollish, so again, another plus for her being an obscurity after the first unlock.

On the other hand, yes, I too agree that in the bigger picture it's a bit of a blunder on Hasbro's part. I see some people online liking it, but I don't see a lot of excitement for it. A lot more WTFs and Huhs, lol. It'll be interesting to see what the numbers say over the next few days, but I think there would be wisdom in teasing the third unlock.

Nice Glenda custom. Which head did you use?

I definitely think it is better than having an essential included. But yeah, it's hardly going to drive sales.

I am excited to see the inevitable v1 scarlet repaint. Just dread the likelihood it will be a walmart exclusive retro release. Hoping it will be mainline, but not holding my breath. Still don't have storm shadow.

And having Flash coming is also great. I really want the original 13. And Kwinn, and Dr. Venom, etc.!

Thanks. It's a Star Wars Concept Starkiller figure.

That was my plan too. I?m not sure what affect such an obscure character like Glenda will have.
Maybe some Marvel fans will want her as a SHIELD agent as well?

Just list her as Sue Storm: Fantasti-Car Pilot!

Toy Snowman has the Python Patrol Officer ($37) and Tiger Force Recondo ($36) in stock, cheaper than Toys R Us' inflated price of $45:
