Yeah, I totally agree.

I don't collect something just because they are rare or valuable in the secondary market. I only collect the things I like. If you only collect rare stuff in hope to sell them later, then you are no different from the scalpers. In that case, you are not "collecting" toys, but you are stockpiling toys for the sake of earning money from it.

I only sell because I don't have enough space for new things...

When I say "value" I don't only mean monetary value.

Value:the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.

Says nothing about selling or money.
A valuable figure can be any figure you need to complete a collection. A figure that's $1 can be the same value as a $100 if you need it.

lol....its kind of sad but in a few years there will be kids that will have no idea what a video store is let alone the adult section. It'll be like trying to explain arcades to kids now.
