My cousin contacted hasbro about some defective Star Wars angry birds. They responded by sending her a new set plus additional. She was very impressed with their effort

How about another figure with a lot of hype. You know which one I'm talking about. I was shocked with the screen time

Quite literally it was "garbage".

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Lmao! One was three seconds of screen time, the other will become "trash" talk! Though the fans/ collectors made it out to be a bigger hype and demand then it needed to be. Lol

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Both are still cool-looking figures, despite their barely-there roles in the actual film. I don't think that's him in the flashback, or anywhere else in the film at all given that there's no mention of him even in the credits. I think his part got totally chopped out.

I just saw the movie and I see what you mean. But I'm sure any questionable figure choices by Hasbro will become more relevant in the next two movies. They have to have some filler figures initially or else they would give away too much.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

As a kid who started his star wars collecting obsession in the mid 90's as a seven year old, I'm someone who can appreciate a good filler/background character.

I was all about the weirdo aliens with the strange back stories on the cardbacks when I was a kid. My friends all wanted to play with their Han and Luke figures and I wouldn't let go of my POTF2 Bossk.

If anything I feel like the advent of army building has made this phenomenon go away in Star Wars collecting. There's a lot of troopers in the Black Series. This is cool and I know this is needed to keep the line going but I miss the days where I would find weird aliens and strange looking droids on the pegs

I'd LOVE some TFA aliens and droids from Maz' Castle and the resistance base.

In particular these three:

They already have the blue droid in 3.75" scale on shelves right now. He's called PZ-4C0.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Yeah but it's not the same. That guy would be awesome as a Black Series 6-inch figure.
