Thanks for the link. I was wondering about some of the 2013 set prices, since most aren't up at Legoshop.com.

Yep, all those NEW Turtles, Batman, Star Wars Sets were in my local TRU but they all disappeared faster than lasagna in front of garfield.

LOL! So true! I was at TRU yesterday and it was crazy busy. It was almost like people came by and just cleaned out the shelf within minutes. Went back to the lego section after checking out the other stuff and bam nothing left on the shelf. Wonder what it will be like on Boxing Day.

Makes collecting at this time of year so difficult sometimes, you have a hankering for LEGO and you find that, it's one of the top brands selling during the Holidays.

Sets seem to linger for months, years, days, weeks even at a time on the shelf throughout the rest of the year, but come November and the big Christmas Rush and BAM! Good luck trying to find rare polybags, let alone some left over merch from the past year or so with all the great sales deals going on.

Personally I'm beginning to think it'd be easier just to buy sets from LEGO online, or hope that we get a LEGO brand store opening up in Winnipeg sometime in the new year. Or the next four years or so.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Especially, getting those polybags sets. I pretty much buy them on the spot. If I wait, they will be gone.
