Hasbro's Final 2009 G.I. Joe Q&A Answers for ActionFigureNews.ca

AFN: What's the release status of Mighty Muggs Wave 3?
Hasbro: Unfortunately these have been canceled.

AFN: What waves of figures can we expect to see released in Canada in 2010?
Hasbro: We will continue with the ROC line in the spring and move to The Pursuit of Cobra line for the fall.

AFN: Was the sales of the Pit successful enough to see more large vehicles or playsets produced in the future?
Hasbro: The Pit sold well but in 2010 our focus will be on smaller vehicles and figures.

Not really any good news other than the new Joe line will carry on. Mighty Muggs, I'm not surprised. Same with no new large playsets. It's too bad most of the larger items become store exclusives, which means the price is really high.

I'm actually kind of glad there isn't anything amazing happening with the Joe line for a while. Still want to pick up City Strike Snake Eyes, but other than that, it's pretty much kaput for me with Joes until the inevitable 30th anniversary figures. Allows me to focus on other toys, considering how much of my wallet Joes ate up for a good while there.
