I am guessing it was always this red, as this def must be the exact figure re-released, I never payed much attention to what this figure looked like myself, since like you I have the 2 pack version.

Finally found a 3.75 Moon Knight, that wave has been ever elusive here for me, but I hope that means they are stocking more of that wave, found some Origins, but never seen a Masterverse figure.
