I'd be interested to see what their cost actually is, but yeah, the margin on toys is not very big.

Wolverine looks cool, but other than that, nothing really appeals to me from the wave.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I can't recall if anyone here ordered the Haslab Galactus.

Personally, it was too way expensive (and large) for my collection but I still wanted a Galactus for display purposes.

I saw this one at 401 Games for $52.48 and it makes for a cool display. Half the size of the Haslab.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I bought the Haslab Galactus.

This is a great looking Galactus, but is it a glorified statue? Or does it have articulation? That is a great price for a 12" Galactus, even if it doesn't have articulation. That is half off? Wow.

Oh and I love that helmet-less head. Too bad Hasbro couldn't have done something like this instead of that ridiculous Doom head.

What company makes this? That’s a great deal.

It's a glorified statue. Essentially just for display purposes. It's a quite detailed sculpt nevertheless.

Of course the Haslab will look fantastic, no pun intended.

It's good you bought it back then, I'm seeing secondary market prices for it in the multiple thousands!

Heroclix I believe. Randomly found it at a downtown Toronto store, but available at other retailers as well.

With all the crazy price increases, does anyone know if you preorder at Gamestop in store and then when the products comes out if you pay the current price or the price at the time of preorder? I feel from experience you pay the price at the time the order comes in but I cannot recall 100%.

I also believe if you preorder online they hold the price at what it was at the time of the preorder, which is an advantage of doing online preordering with them as opposed to in store. I'm a bit hazy on this too though, didn't have to deal with every 3 month prices increases previously.

If you preorder online, you pay whatever the price was when you made the preorder, regardless of the price when it ships.

If you preorder in store, and wait to pay until the item is ready for pickup, you pay the price as listed at time of pickup. If you paid for the in store preorder when you made it, then it's already paid.

If it's an old online preorder, from before the Edge discount was available online, and you do a return/repurchase to get the Edge discount in store, the new price will be in force before the Edge discount is applied, so you can't get the Edge discount on the old price, only the new price for instore corrections.

Can confirm, saw it last week. I never saw the No Way Home wave though, did it ever show up at Walmart? And if so was it plentiful? Never saw that Walmart exclusive Tom Holland Spidey either.
