Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

Well thanks to those who found DT Red hidden on Amazon.ca under it's product code. Mine came in, lots of accessories for this one. Good buy.

That surprised me. I would have bought the Andros but the paint on the mask had that same issue (the line that split off in the centre).
Fascinating that the VS-packs and Monsters hit Ontario before the Zordon/Alpha 2pack. These releases are so unpredictable.

I'm impressed a Toronto EB let you go inside during the lockdown.

Okay.

Well it looks like the Monsters are rolling out in the GTA. So I expect the VS 2packs to appear in Toronto stores shortly.

EB at Markville had the Pumpkin Rapper;

EB at Wismer Commons had the Flyguy;

Didn't buy any of them, but I'm sure they'll be all over the shelves in a short time. Overpriced though.

Not really feeling that In Space 2 pack anymore or the In Space Rangers in general at this point. Paint is too inconsistent. Yellow has the white on the shoulders in the correct place, Red does not. Yellow has gold around the collar area instead of yellow and it looks ugly due to it just being painted over the yellow. That just kills it for me. By the time they put out the entire In Space Team it's gonna be so inaccurate and inconsistent that you're gonna ask "why did I bother"?

Yeah man. That's why I'm not keen on completed teams. There will be inconsistencies. Even Zeo... I have Tommy with the white outline on his Visor... but Rocky doesn't have that, silver instead. Visually the visor outlines do indeed make a difference. Look at DT White for proof of that.

SPD Red is missing the visor outlines, but SPD Blue has it.

Now that I look at the gold on Yellow it actually looks pretty good. Not ugly like I first thought but it still is inconsistent. I didn't even notice the visor outlines I'll have to go look at that again. Edit: I think the best way to display these figures is to not display them as a team, but display them by color. Like Forever Red, Forever Blue, etc kind of thing..they won't look as bad that way in my opinion.

Don't worry, the teams will have consistent paint when the 5 figure team set is released after we've already bought all or some of the inaccurate ones.

LOL sadly that is very likely to be the reality.
