Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

I agree with you. Never saw any motu origins figures in the walmarts I go to except a bunch of battle cats and today for the first time origins BA heman. Never once did I see snake mountain minis. The problem with this line is that quantities are always limited and only some stores get them. Include the problem of scalpers into the mix and collecting this line gets even harder. I was hoping that stores would get large quantities of origins figures like in the 80’s and 90’s. I noticed in some youtube videos that some walmarts in the states have a better and bigger selection of origins figures with that awesome shelf display.
For now shelves in Hamilton area are full of battle cats and nothing else. My luck with castle is rotten ad well. Hopefully toysrus will get it.

Just wishing the first two waves got this kind of distribution is all....

yep collectors got the short end because other stores decided not to order wave 1 & 2 cases (or just no more supply?) and just carry on with wave 3 cases like walmart.

Yeah this is what I was afraid of, as soon as the other stores besides walmart were able to carry this line, they just picked up with whatever the most current releases were.
I'm sure they'll release He-man and Skeletor again at some point, but it's frustrating owning Battle cat for months with no He-Man to ride him.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

I have seen the Deluxe He-man and Skeletor here at WMs. Also saw the WWE MOTU Stephanie McMahon figure today (who looks a lot like Evil Lyn) but none of the others in her wave. No Castles yet.

At TRUs here still yet to see any figures. Only 50 Battlecats and Sleds.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Does anyone know if there's a variant/running change with Battle Armor Skeletor like there is with He-Man? I can't find anything about it online. I didn't even know that there was a variant with He-Man until I saw a Kijiji ad with both variants

The paint app on heman is his variant, while skeletor variant is black eyes not red eyes.

One has shinier armor and the other's boot straps are painted. This is a terrible picture but you can kind of see the difference if you know what you're looking for

The paint variant is TRUE.
My buddy has one with no painted boot straps. I scored the one with them painted. Craziness.
