I guess that’s their strategy, have an item so hard to find that when it does come across your path, you will pay much higher for it.

Northmen collectibles has the original release for $35, it's not much cheaper but at least you can box it up later unlike the carded repack.

I agree with you. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra if it meant getting extra hands or Jedi cloaks but we're paying more and getting the same. I don't like that one bit. Like look at the repack Qui Gon. You're literally getting LESS. The original release came with an alternate hand. This repack doesn't. I mean how hard and expensive would it have been to repack the same hand again? They repacked the original release Qui gons alternate hand with the exclusive Padawan Obi. So no one can tell me they couldn't do it.

Maybe the extra hand is hidden behind the Lucas Film logo? I recall the packaging for archive figures hiding some of the accessories (though I don't know if they were shown in the promotional material).

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Jar Jar. Does this Best Buy one even come with the shield? I don't see it in the packaging shot. Yet it's the same price as the Black Series deluxe one that DOES come with a shield?

EDIT: I took a look again at the BestBuy page and even the loose shots show no shield, so okay... you're paying the same price as the Deluxe release, and as Zeroflamez pointed out, you're getting LESS. Some nice packaging, for anyone who loooooved the TPM card, but nothing else.

Both Hasbro and Disney... just getting greedy.

I noticed Jar Jar coming with less too. Just forgot to mention it. Hasbro and Disney have always been greedy lol. It's just becoming more evident now with how they are giants now.
