Just got some not great news...looks like there may be a significant price increase in the not too distant future.
Not sure how long this might take to elicit change at the big box stores, but it's coming...

How big of a price increase? Marvel Legends has taken a back seat for a bit to Transformers due to budgeting and the lower price of the TF deluxes. Was hoping to get back into buying Marvel Legends now that I've started getting the Juggernaut wave.

Wow really? $30 for a 6 inch figure with limited accessories is getting to be hard to swallow. I guess having unique figures in a wave will make it worth while, but some times it doesn't even seem like they are trying.

It's possible this is a one-off thing. At this point it has only come from one supplier.
Dollar fluctuations can have weird effects on costs, but if this increase is across the board, stores will eventually have to bump up the price.
When SWB was still at $25 I was saying for 6 mo to a year that a price jump would be coming. The big stores just don't react to cost increases quickly .

Looks like there's a CW movie release wave...? At TRU here there's Black Panther, IM, Cap, Scarlett Witch, WM, and BAF Ant-man. Winter Soldier has a piece but Falcon does not according to the back panel.

Also, the Civil War releases for Winter Soldier and Falcon were non-BAF exclusives at Walmart.
All these came out last spring/summer. I was not aware of any other CW releases since then?

Nope not those, which is why I was confused too.
Packaged date stamp was some time in December 2016, 336th day(?). Looks like they added in the movie WS and Falcon from WM along with Abomination wave Scarlet Witch and adjusted the Ant-man Pieces.
