Pics & Heroes - Toy Photography

Hello!

A thanks to the admins for letting a long time lurker join the forums! I've enjoyed and welcomed the info on the boards for years, and am happy to finally have something to contribute.

I'm very much an amateur photographer and dio builder, but I think things have progressed to the point where I feel I have something worth looking at to share. Any comments, crits or suggestions are always welcome - always looking to improve!

I mostly collect Mythic Legions, Mcfarlane DC Multiverse and bits of Marvel Legends, GI Joe 6in, Warhammer 7in and Star Wars Black, as well as some customizing of all into fantasy figures.

Below are a random selection of some from each line. I do both practical and digital backdrops and effects, depending which makes the most sense. Practical is usually the preferred, but sometimes digital will have that extra punch.

Most of my stuff can be found on my Flickr account, as well as my Lego builds: https://www.flickr.com/photos/62345919@N00/

Thanks for looking and look forward to being on the forums!

Re: Pics & Heroes - Toy Photography

I realized I mentioned Warhammer 7in, but forgot to include in the montage. They are just the basic painted figs with some additional weathering, panel lining, paint details one the weapons, grease and exhaust soot, silver and steel accents. Also toned down the cartoonish flavour of the Necron rifle a bit by removing a hose and one of the blades.
