I agree.
Even if scalpers snatch up a number of the Quasar figures, I highly doubt the character is that popular (compared to say, some of the X-Men-related or Fantastic Four characters) to be in such high demand among collectors to pay premium prices.
When non-essential stores were allowed to reopen in Toronto recently, I saw Nova figures on the pegs at some EB Games stores...and that was a Walgreens figure that people were initially afraid would be difficult to find.
I was even able to find the hard-to-find 3 3/4" Grogu/The Child figure from the Star Wars Vintage Collection at an EB Games store. The sales girl told me that they had fulfilled all of the pre-orders for that figure and still had some left over. I have a strong feeling Quasar may end up being the same way.
Anyone else have problems with EB games website last night checking out? the website was broken all night long, they had Quasar in stock, I tried all night, but of course blammo sold out, guess the scalpers were hammering the system buying 20 figures each
