Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I mean this is always the risk we take in waiting. I was hoping to get that stupid Kid Omega figure (solely for the BAF part) on sale and he went out of stock on Amazon this morning -- I'm guessing they must've had a sale very early in the morning and it got scooped up by other BAF builders too.

From what I have seen/read online it seems the second release is the better version. Mostly due to issues around the paint on the Ursa Major version. Apparently there have been reports of paint chipping, or rubbing, after some use.

I have both versions and haven't had that problem, but I do agree the Ursa Major version feels like it could be problematic in regards to the paint over time.

However I prefer the head sculpt and "Kirby Krackle" piece of the Ursa Major version.

Yeah I am waiting on this set. I saw that it was not a preorder and decided to wait until next month. (Gotta TRY and stick to the monthly budget )

I also saw that it was a limit of 5 per customer when Pulse usually has a limit of 2. So I figured they really produced a lot and hopefully it will stick around for a couple more weeks. I already spent way too much this month so I want to keep my powder dry in case Mattel surprises us with more Origins preorders.

Oh, I would not have ordered it if I had known that.

I prefer the ursa version even with paint issues. The antman one looks kind of cheap without paint and the marbling looks really bad from what I've seen. Plus the head doesn't look all that good to me.

In other news king pin has been reissued.
