Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Still showing in stock for me.

On a side note does anyone know why this set comes with a wolverine hood cowl? Is it significant to the comics? I've not read anything with the Hellfire club before.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

What we're seeing here is likely reactionary to Marvel 'First 10 Years' not selling so well in mass retail 'brick and mortar' stores.

Now the 'premium' sets will be higher priced and sold directly to the customers, like exclusives. Likely in smaller quantities produced.

A possible sign of where the action figure industry is headed.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I think the 10 year figures could have performed better without the 2-packs. A lot of these figures were updated re-issues. How many collectors wanted to drop like $60 on a 2-pack to get a figure they've already bought however many times just to get one they don't own? I mean look at how many people wouldn't mind having the new Snap Tony but won't buy him due to the inflated price and the fact that it comes with a Thanos they don't want.

Nimrod set for $60. Yeah, it's been cheaper ($44ish?). Still a good deal though IMO.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

EB Games sent out the shipping notice for the Shang-Chi wave. The whole wave is going out at the same time, not delayed item by item.

It's shelf-warming a lot in the US. Distribution for this wave shouldn't be an issue.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

First the Black Widow Wave shelf warms, now it's the Shang-Chi wave. I can't see the Eternals doing any better on pegs. This is not a good look for the MCU.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Shang-Chi wave is mostly sold out at EB Games and Amazon.ca. Just because it's widely available in the US, doesn't mean the same is true in Canada.
