Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Just got my vintage head He-Man from EB, and what a difference it makes putting him beside the first release and comparing. For me the vintage head is the way to go!

Also recently got a shipment from EE which had Goddess, Stinkor and Webstor. Seeing them in person just makes me want to get more of the ones I've missed so far.

I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should get a Grayskull, or just stick with my Classics Grayskull. I don't know that I have room for another castle, but the price is pretty good even if you didn't factor in the included figure.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

I know what you mean, Arashikage. I did pick up an Origins Grayskull back in February and I still haven’t opened it due to lack of space. I bought it because I spotted it in store without even thinking it through, lol. I like how my Origins figures look posed outside of the larger Classics castle which has also delayed me opening the Origins version. I’ll most likely have to reorganize the office if I do open it.

kvu: thanks for the UPC
Well, checking stocktrack made it easier for me to skip this line (I was tempted to get just He-man & Skeletor anyway), as no Walmarts near me are carrying this line, and I’m not driving in to the centre of Ottawa just to get this line at regular price.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Stocktrack finally let me down this weekend…. I checked each Walmart in Ottawa that was supposed to have the Battle Armour He-man and Battle Cat battle damaged set and came away empty handed at each store. And of course not a single employee to be found for help.

I was wondering if any Ottawa collectors here who ends up spotting the set wouldn’t mind posting about it or shooting me a PM please?

Also, $59.49 for Castle Grayskull on Amazon.ca right now for Prime members.
As well as $17.10 for Sky Sled & Prince Adam, $17.10 for Battle Cat, $20.99 for Panthor, and $27.99 for Land Shark. Sale is supposed to end in 11 hours or so

If you missed the Amazon sale, I saw the MOTU Castle @ TRU today for just under $70. Not sure how long that price lasts though.

It's in the Christmas book they mailed out so I'm thinking the sale is on for awhile

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

A RCSS here had the MOTU 7-inch figures priced at $15.98. Only 1 figure was there though. Not sure whether this was a sale or clearance (like the cheap McFarlane figs I posted about a few weeks ago).

Something to keep an eye out for if you're collecting that line.

The only Wave 4 figure I recall seeing sighted at retail was Hordak, and he seemed to randomly show up at EB Games stores. So, in theory, EB had the rest of that wave as well, but again, I don't remember seeing any sightings of the others.
