MOTU 2002 vs MOTU Classics

Which series do you like better, the 4 Horsemen sculpted MOTU line that had the new cartoon series or the new line that is available only online?

Re: MOTU 2002 vs MOTU Classics

Personally, i liked the one with the cartoon. The 200X line of figures were a refreshing look to the characters of old, giving them new life, as apposed to just rehashing the old ones.
However, that dosent mean that i hate the new classics line either. It gives us 80,s children something new that takes us back to something old, and gives us that feeling of being a child once more. I just think that thiers room for both lines, something for the nostalgic, and something for this generation of kids to enjoy! In other words, that would be twice as much fun for me, as i would love both!!!

The 200x line is nicer designs, etc.

By the way, anyone know if the new classics line is sculpted by the four-horsemen?

I like the 200x line more because it was something new and fresh. The classics line is a nice throw-back, but the designs are far too similar to the toys from the 1980s.

The 4 Horsemen sculpted both 200X & MOTUC and have done a spectacular job for both lines!

I love both lines equally and so far MOTUC has been including nods to the 80's figures and the 200X figures, to me something for everyone.

Just take a look at Webstor and Hordak

I'd have to say I like some of the older figs better, and some of the classics line better...hordak, as you said is a good example.

Speaking of which, I have a few extra Hordak and Zodac figs if anyone still needs.
