G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

Here's how mine came. The stripe seems centered, but the ends were not straight though. Not sure how to explain it. It's almost like someone was painting something that should be on a flat surface, but painted it on a curved surface, if you get what I mean.

Here's how it came out of package.




I was able to fix it by scraping the part that stuck out lower on one side.



If you look closely, you can see where i scraped off the white paint to make it straight.

Your Gamestop one seems to look the same as mine. Wonder if it's a particular batch. Mine has 40811 stamped on the foot.

Mine I got from Gamestop, and yeah the stripe is off-center. It has 40811A stamped on the back of the packaging (I haven't taken him out of the package yet so I don't know about the foot).

I'm actually more annoyed at how much darker the blue plastic is on this release compared to the OAM (and I assume the Haslab version). The red Cobra stamp is a dark red, so it just blends too easily in with the dark blue plastic. I wish it was a blue that was about halfway from what we got and the OAM lighter blue.

Or at least make the red Cobra symbol slightly more lighter.

There were a couple boxes of the retro coco at my GameStop when preorders came in. The paint is really all over the place. I got one that looked decent but there were lots that were way off centre, crooked or slopped.

Seems like the factory doing the Retro CC didn't have the stuff to properly do the white stripe on his helmet. Other people are reporting similar issues from different boards. Looks like most of us will have to live with some form of crappy paint app if we get Retro CC.

Yeah, that's what it says on my box too, so we got the same batch.

Got the NF Falcon. I swapped with the regular Falcon's head. Here's some comparisons for those interested.





I wish they made this backpack with a longer peg. Even the original Falcon doesn't really hold this backpack well. On the new NF one, with the webgear, it makes the backpack look very awkward.
