This is what is killing the hobby for me. Where I live, we have a Walmart, but outside of Lego it is useless to me. Surge pricing has held me back multiple times getting something I wanted off of Amazon. If I had completely missed out on a specific figure and was paying a 3rd party seller, I might consider it. But not paying those prices to the places that should be charging retail price.

I find it hilarious though to surge price a figure that seems to be the peg warmer.

They probably saw how fast the other figures (Chun-Li, MBison, Ken) sold and decided that this particular toyline is a hot seller, so let's jack up (surge) those prices. While it's funny that only the pegwarmer is left, it won't be so funny when the next waves hit and are also $42 as well...

If prices do increase to like $42 it will be indie or import. Prices are going up so much here that it's actually starting to get cheaper to just import off Amazon.com depending on the figure. Like the Jada SF figures are only around $40 after shipping.

Anyone know what's going on with Ken's page? it won't load the page. Only a message saying 1 per customer. It seems as if my local GS has some player 2 chun li's. I'm gonna head over tomorrow to have a look.

You better off doing BOPS now and wait for the email confirmation that it's ready for pick up instead of heading to the store to be told that the figure is a preorder. Saves you from making a trip there to leave empty handed.
