Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

QC might but effort, I doubt. It takes no extra money to make paint apps consistent across the board for a team of rangers, it takes no extra money to have the accessories be consistent. It's all within their current budget to do so yet they still can't. I get what they're doing but half assing it until then is just going to make fans lose interest and not want to spend money on the toys or be very hesitant about it.

It depends how strongly they want to revitalize the brand when the "Hasbro Era" begins.

They'll be aiming to draw in a new group of fans with the PR Reboot series/film anyway.

"They'll be aiming to draw in a new group of fans with the PR Reboot series/film" Hopefully that doesn't mean Hasbro will care even less about LC if the new Hasbro stuff explodes among kids and the main line takes priority.

As flawed as the monster line is, I’m so happy about pudgy pig. The VHS tape with that episode was on repeat when I was a kid this is a definite purchase for me

Well thats smart, making it a higher priced exclusive just for the hardcore collectors. Since Monsters failed as a mass market line

Don’t kid yourself - this will get released as a stand-alone figure somewhere down the line, but without the lunchbox and with different accessories (like the big sub sandwich he eats). Pudgy Pig is visually one of the most recognizable MMPR villains, so I doubt they will leave him as convention-exclusive.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

Don't kid yourself. They won't.

The Monsters Line completely flopped in mass retail. Hence this 'higher-priced' Collector exclusive approach, with lower quantities produced.

45$ USD. That's nearly $60 Canadian. They know what they're doing.
