The only way we'd see another release of pudgy pig in retail is in a 2-pack with another Ranger. Since Hasbro seems to like to do 2-packs that are episode specific and Pudgy is from season 1, there is no ranger they could pack him with from that episode that they haven't done yet. So since that's the case , you're right. No way they can re-release him at retail.

They still need to make civilian attire MMPRs. Plenty of ways left to milk this cow.

Though if Hasbro wanted this monster line to be successful, they should of started with Bones. Skeletons + Capes = $$$

Doing civilian attire figures would be cool but super unlikely cause they'd have to make 5 brand new sculpts. They rarely make new molds for Marvel Legends, there's no way they'd do ALL new ones for Power Rangers that would never be used again.

Yes, we very much do. King Sphinx and Pumpkin Rapper were $8 on Amazon.com not long ago. Not only that but they were shelf warming for months after release and still are. Then you have Eye guy that looks unfinished released on his own. I imagine Pudgy Pig was supposed to be in wave 2 with Eye Guy but once wave 1 flopped they just left Eye Guy "as is" and decided to put the money into Pudgy pig and made him an exclusive.

Hasbro knows they have a niche and dedicated small base of adult PR fans that will buy whatever tickles their nostalgia bone, no matter the price. So they are catering specifically to that market here.

I thought they would attempt a BAF Monster type thing. It would certainly avoid some peg warming, but I’d imagine the problems too. Fig swappers, limited accessories, etc. Maybe try it with the rumoured ninjetti wave as those rangers didn’t really have weapons/accessories.
