When it comes to actual stores, I've noticed GTA Wal-Marts this week restocked their Lightning shelves with more cases of Wave 8 :/ No W9 in sight.


The only 'new' Lightning item that has made it to Canada, is the shitty pink morpher

I haven't even seen that Morpher in my neck of woods let alone the regular MMPR Morpher they released months ago. We probably won't get wave 9 at all at this point. If we get it, we get it, if not then I guess that's how it is.

I have my reservations about even getting anything from W9 at this point, if it ever comes out.

The Price increase just isn't worth it.

Consider the math on how much it would cost to just complete the PRiS team now.

Carlos - $35, Cassie - $35, Walgreens Zhane - $35, The TJ Two-Pack - At least $70

Yeah it's definitely hard to want to stay invested in this line due to the price increases. The way they are making you buy 2-packs to get core members of a team is also extremely frustrating. The only thing I want from Wave 9 is Lost Galaxy Blue. With how the prices are now for these figures I can't see myself completing much else outside MMPR besides Lost Galaxy, possibly the Ninjetti's and maybe Alien Rangers if there isn't another price hike by then. I wish PR had more alternatives when it came to figures like other brands do. It's basically Hasbro or nothing now. I wouldn't mind paying more for a better quality figure from another company that's in the 1/12 scale if the option was there.

What's to trust? No down-payment, no cancellation fee, easy returns (if needed). Every retailer is unreliable with pre-orders these days, but most get their products eventually. And were talking about Space Black not MMRP Black, so the figure will be widely available for some time.
