Because chances are you won't ever get it. I placed a preorder for a LC figure at the end of September 2020 with Walmart. Next month it will have been a year since I placed the order and it's still stuck in limbo. Amazon and Walmart are THE most unreliable retailers to Preorder with. Though at least Amazon will cancel your order eventually, where as Walmart will keep your forever delayed Preorder active until you're dead.

I was just about to say $69.99 CAD would be a fair exchange with the US price.

But 85 bucks CAD..... that smells of Canadian price gouging.


That's a really bad sign for Canadian collectors of Hasbro products. We knew the ML Infinity Saga items were overpriced over here, but now that's carrying into other lines. Seems like a Hasbro-wide thing.

Also, the release date is Spring 2022? Haha. Meaning it won't be in Canada still a year from now.

And eventually the price will be slashed, like all Amazon Exclusives.

That's another thing I noticed. Hasbro having preorders for things that are like 10 months out from being released. Like wtf? on top of that some of these preorder items don't even have promotional images yet (stares at the Star Wars Black Series Clone Wars exclusive Mace, Fordo and Grevious) yet they want you to put money down. Yeah I'm just about done with Hasbro too. I've already off loaded most of my Marvel Legends, Black Series and LC.

They made great products, and I'm thankful I have a pretty vast Lightning Collection and ML collection already, because I definitely wouldn't want to be a collector under the new state of Hasbro.

Price hikes and massive delays. Blah.

Like knowing Canadian distribution, we probably won't see that two-pack till Summer of 2022 (since we're about 3-4 months behind the US distribution)... next year. That's f**ked.

Yeah I'm still keeping some of my favorites from the lines but as far as being an all in collector, my days are done.
