It's true. I'd say it's my favorite of the year.

I saw this at my local Walmart with a sticker over the barcode and priced at 24.97.

Me too. In Laval QC. McFarlane is distributing them to Walmarts in Canada through Imports Dragon.

I actually wrote to Imports Dragon to see if they would provide any info on the continued distribution of McFarlane figures especially pertaining to the randomness of the assortments showing up in stores.

It's very random indeed. There was a year where no new McFarlanes were showing up at Walmart. Recently, some new ones have been; like Action Comics Superman. I've never ever seen Collectors Edition at Walmart though, only at GS.

I've returned a superman 1978 regular version at Gamestop Steeles and Dufferin Toronto if anyone in that area is interested

Saw the regular version and the platinum version at walmart today for $24.97.

Picked up the platinum version.

I found both at GS not cheap. Would lobe to find them for less than $39.99 or $29.99 at Walmart
