Star Trek Clearance at Walmart

Thanks to AFN members Storm.Shadow & TomW we now know that both the 3 3/4 Inch and 6 inch Star Trek figures are now on clearance at Walmart for $5.00 each.

The sighting was made at two Walmarts in Ontario. Please use this thread for discussion and to confirm if this price drop is popping up in other provinces across the country.

They're warming shelves at TRU also. Still waiting on terminator figures to go on clearance so I can grab a couple Terminators.

You'd think the 3.5" figs would be cheaper... but they are also $5?

I've been waiting for these to go on sale - didn't think that it would be this soon, though.

They said that we would get the figures with the bridge pieces later in the fall. It looks now like stores certainly aren't going to be ordering any more of these any time soon.
So we probably won't see the pack in pieces in Canada at all.

Here is the response I got from Playmates 2 months after initially asking the question about accessories:

At this time the 3.75" Galaxy figures that are shipping International
(Spring 2009 shipment) will not have the Bridge & Transporter
Accessories included. The second Wave of Galaxy figures shipping Fall of
2009 will have the Bridge Accessories included, most territories will
also have Booster (Bonus) packs, which will include 5 bridge/transporter
accessories with one 3.75 inch Star Trek figure in each booster pack,
totaling 2 different packs. This will take care of the first shipment
and make the Galaxy figures all complete with the Bridge & Transporter
parts. If the 2 Booster packs or Galaxy figures with accessories are not
available in your territory you can order from online retailers that do
sell them.
Please note *Some International territories may not include additional
pieces with the Galaxy Series Figures

So we MAY see some accessory packs in the fall, but that may depend on retailers ordering.

Also there was no Pike, either in the 6" scale or the smaller scale. And I don't recall ever seeing one.

Has anyone seen a Pike figure? Were they in the assortment?

my local store had signs for clearance $5 but also there were signs that said clearance 2 for $10.... :confused: :rolleyes: :p

Yeah I'm waiting to pick up a 3-4" T-RIP and 6" T-RIP when they get discounted. :) Hope it's soon with the ROTF stuff coming in!

Three Wal-Mart in Calgary are all clearance priced on Star Trek.

They're on sale at the walmart in Brossard, Quebec. 3.75" figs are $5, and so are the 6" figures!
