Okay, DC Fans, we have a social thread for Star Wars fans, now it's our turn to socialize and discuss the latest going-ons in the world of DC Comics!

And to start things off......

Well, last night marked the launch of the New 52. Anyone actually get the issue of Justice League last night? I didn't, but I am really looking forward to picking it up. I mean, Jim Lee and Geoff Johns? How awesome is that! :cool:

Everyone in there had a copy of JL #1 in there hands.
Awesome to see it's doing good. I have one set aside for me.
I bet marvel will follow suit soon.

I love the cover for JLI #1, great to see Rocket Red in the background and don't even get me started on how stoked I am for the new Dark Knight title! While I was against the relaunch of the DC Universe, I do like the look and feel of these new comics.

Anyone else been catching these awesome Young Justice episodes? Man, this cartoon seems to get better and better every week! :D

Best episode lately was the one where they took on the Injustice League! Loved Brent Spiner as the Joker, he really gave the character an edge that was obviously inspired by Heath Legar's role in The Dark Knight!

No new episode this week though, according to Wiki's YJ episode guide.

Man, this weeks Young Justice episode was epic, very Independence Day-esque! Can't wait for next week's episode!

Also, FINALLY got some spare time to watch Batman: Year One and I loved it! Very gritty! It had a nice 80's feel to it and, I am telling ya, Ben McKenzie's Bruce Wayne / Batman sounded like a young Kevin Conroy to me!

Very cool flick! Did great justice to one of the best Batman stories ever wrote. Now, bring on Justice League: Doom!!! :D

Finally grabbed Justice League: Doom and I throughly enjoyed it! Lots of action and a great story to honor Dwayne McDuffie!

Only thing I found odd is that Michael Rosenbaum (Wally West Flash in Justice League & Justice League: Unlimited was chosen to voice Barry Allen. Whatever, love Barry Allen and Michael Rosenbaum, so no complaints here!

Another solid entry into the DC Animated Movie franchise! Really looking forward to Superman vs. The Elite now! :D

I picked up the hardcover of the Justice League new 52. Story was just okay, your typical invasions stuff, but I mainly picked it up for Jim Lee's art. I loved the full page artwork. Just beautiful to look at. I think I like his Wonder Woman the best

Edit: Also, I rewatched Justice League: Doom. While I still feel the animation is cheaper than previous outings, I enjoyed it more the second time around.
