Not really sure where to post this. I stumbled upon this news while watching EP Daily (video-game show). It seems like Vancouver will be getting a Fan Expo this year.

Ticket Info:

Basic: $20 for a single day pass

Deluxe: $30 for a 2 day pass

Tickets on sale February 21, 2012

So far the guests, schedule, and exclusives haven't been set yet.

Never been to one of these major conventions before. I'm not really sure what to expect.

They should be able to do lots with voice actors. Tons of them live in BC.

I'm not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing that Fanexpo is putting this on. To me it would be better if you guys had a local group doing the event.

Yeah, me too. I'm glad we are finally getting a big comic convention in Vancouver. Now I'm curious as to what the convention exclusives are. :p

I'll see what I can do. At the moment, I'm still not sure if I can attend or not. Need to see if I can get those days off from work. :p

Kristen Bauer would be cool to see. She's one of the best things about Tru Blood.

I might end up going. Might not. April is around the time I start to spend weekends on backcountry hikes, so we'll see. I'd like to go.

I noticed that Toy Traders from Langley will be there! :clapping: I wonder what they will be selling at their booth.

Okay, I am going to TRY to go to this one. Will be my first ever. Every time I try to go to one of these things, something comes up to fubar my plans.

Since I've never been to these things, is it usually better to go on the first day for the vendors in order to get some good stuff? I guess it would be...

talked to Matt at toy traders and he's got 5 or 6 tables, he said he's not going there to make money, just going to promote the store so there might be some good deals. also he's going to be selling his new store exclusive "good guy" shirts that i designed.
