The Clone Wars: Season 2: Episode 15 Discussion Thread

From what I can tell, nobody, not even Starwars.com, knew there was a new episode on this week. Basically it was another "Who dun it" murder suspense episode, Starring Padme, other senators, and no one else. :/

Uh, so, yeah. If you missed this episode, don't lose sleep. Seemed like it was just here to plant seeds for future archs, and nothing else. No Jedi, clones or Seppies, some, but not a lot of action, and a really weak twist. (JEE, NEVER KNEW THAT PERSON WAS THE KILLER, except for the fact that their sillohette matched someone else's PERFECTLY)

the Detective guy was great, though.

W-what? Er, nevermind. The phase 2 clone armour was shown in a hologram transmission during the newsreel.

Missed it, but doesn't sound like I missed much. Might as well try to find a torrent of the episode so I can at least keep up to date with the series, filler or not.

Re: The Clone Wars: Season 2: Episode 15 Discussion Thread

I actually really liked this episode, loved it even. The fact that it was completely void of Jedi and Sepratists and Sith was a strength for it.

It was great to see Mon Mothma and Bail Organa get developed a little more and I thought they did a good job with the suspense maybe until the chase scene throught the docks.

Senator Lolo was an interesting choice of villian and the mention of how Kamino swayed its involvement with the Clone Army into a Senate seat was a much needed mention for the sake of continuity.

I've only watched it once thus far, but I think I noticed several new CGI models in use in the episode.

Inspector Devo I suspect was part inspired by Don Knots from the Andy Griffth show.

I wouldn't want to see this style of episode every week, but it worked well, way better than The Senate Spy. It developed several new characters including the mentioned Inspector, who will be gold for a long time I suspect.

I do agree that it was better than Senate Spy. Not only did it have some little bit of action, it's story was more interesting, especially with Kamino's involvement.

And holy shit, I had no idea that was Mon Mothma. Nice catch.

Mon Mothma and Bail Organa? Now I really do want to see this, just for character development sake if anything else!

Descriptions of the next two episodes: Spoilers of course.

Cat and Mouse: Bail Organa is trapped on the Separatist-controlled planet of Christophsis as Anakin and Obi-Wan are dispatched to rescue him. An encounter with the mysterious Admiral Trench leads the Jedi into more danger than they bargained for!

Bounty Hunters: Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Asoka form an uneasy alliance with four bounty hunters in order to protect a local spice farmer from Hondo Ohnaka and his band of pirates.
